Thanksgiving week does not move the 4th Wednesday (Nov 25).

Why is the November ‘2nd Wednesday’ payment on a Tuesday?
Veterans Day 2026 falls on Wednesday, November 11 — the same day as the 2nd Wednesday cohort — so that payment moves to the prior business day, Tuesday, November 10.
When is November SSI deposited?
Friday, October 30, 2026, because November 1 is a Sunday.
Is Social Security coming early in November 2026?
Two payments come early. People born on the 1st–10th are paid Tuesday, November 10 instead of Veterans Day (Nov 11), and November SSI arrives Friday, October 30. Everyone else is paid on their normal date: November 3, 18, or 25.
Did the November Social Security payment schedule change?
No rules changed. The two early dates come from SSA's standing rule: when a payment date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, it is paid the business day before. These dates are on SSA's published 2026 payment calendar.
Is the October 30 SSI payment an extra payment?
No. It is your regular November SSI payment paid early. You will not get another SSI payment on November 1, and your next payment is Tuesday, December 1. October recipients therefore see two SSI deposits in October (Oct 1 and Oct 30).
What if my November payment hasn't arrived?
Check your bank account after the scheduled date, confirm your date with the table above, and wait three mail days for paper checks. If it is still missing, contact SSA at 1-800-772-1213 or through my Social Security.
